Aniplex revealed that a new Kaguya-sama: Love is War television special is in the works. The special project has been titled Kaguya-sama: Love Is War – The Stairs to Adulthood. (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai). The staff also released a new key visual featuring the main cast to accompany the announcement.
Studio A-1 Pictures animated all three seasons of the anime. The first season aired in 2019, the second in 2020, and the third season in 2022. In December 2022, the franchise released an anime film titled The First Kiss That Never Ends.
Aka Akasaka first released the Kaguya-sama: Love is War manga series in 2015 on Shueisha’s Miracle Jump magazine before moving to Young Jump in 2016. The manga series officially ended in November 2022.
