The staff for Gōshō Aoyama’s anime adaptation of the Yaiba: Samurai Legend manga revealed the theme songs for the anime’s second cour. Blue Encount will perform a new opening theme song titled “Blade,” and Kairi Yagi and Denon Yuugi will perform the ending theme song “Action!”
The anime made its debut on April 5 and is available for fans to watch on Netflix and Hulu. Cour 2 will be released next week on June 28. The staff announced that Sayaka Senbongi joined the cast as Nadeshiko Yamato. The other cast members from the first cour will reprise their roles for the second cour.
Gōshō Aoyama’s hit manga made its debut in September 1988 on Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday. The series finished in December 1993 with 24 compiled book volumes.
