In Sega Sammy’s Management Meeting 2025 presentation, SEGA and ATLUS confirmed that turn-based fantasy RPG Metaphor: ReFantazio surpassed two million copies sold as of March 31, 2025. Previously, Metaphor: ReFantazio is the fastest selling ATLUS game of all time to reach one million copies sold, beating the record set by Persona 3 Reload.
Metaphor: ReFantazio was recently added to Standard, PC, and Ultimate tiers of Xbox Game Pass. The LATAM Spanish subtitles patch for Metaphor: ReFantazio was also released.
Fans can also look forward to new chapters of the Metaphor: ReFantazio manga series, with the most recent volume having launched on June 4 in Japan.Metaphor: ReFantazio manga volume 1 cost 572 yen, and Shueisha is currently publishing the Metaphor: ReFantazio manga series by Yōichi Amano on Manga Plus in English. The series receives new chapters on a monthly basis.
Moreover, ATLUS recently announced the Metaphor: ReFantazio Orchestra Concert will be held on July 19, 2025 at the Tokorozawa Cultural Civic Centre Muse in Saitama, Japan. The music will be performed by the “Royal Symphony Orchestra of Euchronia,” with the game’s iconic vocalists and conductor Yuki Takai.
Lastly, Metaphor: ReFantazio is now available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Windows (Microsoft Store).
