Id Software has released a new PC update for DOOM: The Dark Ages, which adds new path tracing support, a benchmark mode, and more. Additionally, it has also announced a new collaboration with Corsair based on the recent game.
The new DOOM: The Dark Ages update is exclusive to PC. It now features support for path tracing on a range of NVIDIA GPUs. It adds accurate light bounce modeling and creates new levels of detail for the game. There is also a new benchmark mode for players to test the game’s visual performance and several bug fixes. One of these fixes resolves an issue where Alt + Tabbing the game during cutscenes while using FSR Frame Generation on certain NVIDIA GPUS would cause the game to freeze.
The Corsair collection includes a CSTM80 mechanical keyboard, desk mat, HS80 RGB Wireless Headset, M75 wireless mouse, a Wave DX mic, a Wave mic arm, a Wave XLR, and a Stream Deck. All of the products are available at a range of different prices and feature aesthetics based on the game.

DOOM: The Dark Ages released on May 15 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Since its release, DOOM: The Dark Ages has reached 3 million players 7x faster than DOOM Eternal. The Dark Ages takes the game to the medieval era in an origin story for its protagonist, the Doom Slayer. It features slower, more methodical gameplay compared to its predecessor, plus mech and dragon battles, new weapons, and brand-new worlds unlike anything seen in the series before. We reviewed the game and rated it a 4.5/5, describing it as a “fantastic new beginning for the prolific franchise.”
