    Kamitsubaki City Under Construction Anime Trailer Previews the Opening Theme Song

    Kamitsubaki Studio released a new trailer for the upcoming the Kamitsubaki City Under Construction anime, offering a preview of the anime and its opening theme song “Utahime (Songstress)” by V.W.P (Virtual Witch Phenomenon). V.M.P members will also be the main cast of the anime.

    Kamitsubaki City Under Construction will be streaming exclusively on Crunchyroll outside Japan. The anime will premiere on TBS and 27 affiliate channels on July 3 at 11:55 p.m. JST / 10:56 a.m. EDT. An advance screening of the anime is running for two weeks in Japan starting today, June 13.

    The cast of the anime includes:

    • Harusaruhi (V.M.P member) as Haru Asanushi
    • Isekaijoucho (V.M.P member) as Sekai Yorukawa

    • Shūichirō Umeda as Anemosu
    • Mai Tōdō as Kūgeru
    • Shizuka Itō as Reconstruction Manager

    KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO and PIEDPIPER are credited for the original work and planning production, respectively. Sōki Tsukishima handles the world view setting and original scenario while also serving as supervisor. Kōdai Kakimoto directs the anime at SMDE and handles the series scripts. PALOW. designs the anime’s characters.

    KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO and Orange released dark fantasy sci-fi visual novel KAMITSUBAKI CITY REGENERATE on March 13 for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. The game supports English and Japanese language options.
