Team Beef, Running With Scissors, and Flat2VR Studios have announced that POSTAL 2 Redux will have a Kickstarter campaign in Summer 2025. The new version will serve as a “ground-up overhaul” of the shooter.
POSTAL 2 Redux will be both a modernization and a love letter to the original open-world shooter. It will take every original asset from the game, made in Unreal 1.5, and adapt it into modern Unity. It is unknown when the Kickstarter will go live, but it will likely go up later this Summer. The developers plan to release it for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Mac.
The original release of POSTAL 2, which released in 2003, is available now on Steam. It describes the game as follows:
