Prominent composer Nobuo Uematsu has released a new message on X (formerly Twitter), revealing that he composed some of the songs for FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time. This message from Nobuo Uematsu came shortly after LEVEL-5 CEO Akihiro Hino confirmed FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time surpassed 1 million copies sold.

Here’s my translation of his message:

“It looks like FANTASY LIFE i has been really successful! Hooray! I really like this game. I had a lot of freedom when creating the music for it, and even then, there are still so many songs I absolutely love. If you haven’t played it yet, I definitely recommend you give it a try!”

Some of Uematsu’s work can be seen across the Life Song series of videos that introduce the game’s classes, which were published by LEVEL-5 on their official YouTube channel prior to the game’s release. You can watch one such example below from the Hunter Life, titled “The Hunt Goes On”:

FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time is available now for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time costs $62.58 on Nintendo Switch 2. Moreover, players can upgrade their Nintendo Switch copy to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition by purchasing an upgrade pack for $2.59.

On Nintendo Switch 2, FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time features improved graphics and load times. As previously announced, FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time run at a higher frame rate and resolution as well.

Further, FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time will receive free DLC called “Update the World!” The new DLC offers new recipes and “new content designed to make use of high-rarity weapons” obtained from various sources in FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time.
