Silver Lining Interactive has unveiled physical editions of Koei Tecmo, Dotemu, and The Game Kitchen’s NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5. Physical Standard Edition copies of NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound cost $39.99, while Special Edition copies cost $69.99.
Standard Edition copies include a copy of NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound, the official soundtrack, and a retro booklet. Special Edition contents include the Standard Edition, a cloth map, four metal pins, a double-sided hero medallion, pixel stage standee, double-sided poster, and premium collector’s box. Pre-orders are available now at the Silver Lining Direct store.
NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound will release on July 31 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. A free demo for NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound will be available during Steam Next Fest from June 9 until launch on PC. Moreover, it was confirmed that Blasphemous composer Sergio de Prado is the main composer. The soundtrack will also include contributions from original Ninja Gaiden composers Keiji Yamagishi, Ryuichi Niita, and Kaori Nakabai.
Developed by The Game Kitchen, NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound will offer Ninja Gaiden fans a new 2D experience. Koei Tecmo promises that this new title will blend the gameplay of the classic entries with the depth and intense action from the 3D games. The new game will follow Kenji Mozu as he faces a demonic threat endangering the Hayabusa Village. As Ryu Hayabusa is in America during the game’s events, it’s all up to Kenji to save the day.
