Kodansha announced the With You and the Rain (Ame to Kimi to) anime adaptation will premiere on July 5 at 1:30 a.m. JST on TV Asahi and over 20 other affiliate channels. Crunchyroll will stream the With You and the Rain anime as it airs in Japan, and a new key visual has been revealed.
Before the premiere, there will be an advanced screening of With You and the Rain at United Cinema Minatomirai on June 29. Cast members for the anime will be in attendance, and the anime’s official website confirmed more cast members.
The cast of the With You and the Rain anime includes:

- Yuzu Yumoto as Krause Ella Kii
- Anna Mugiho as You (Kimi)

Lesprit is producing and animating the new anime series, with Tomohiro Tsukimisato as the director. Touko Machida is in charge of the series scripts, and Ayano Ōwada is designing the anime’s characters.
Kō Nikaido launched the With You and the Rain manga in Weekly Young Magazine in August 2020, and the series is still ongoing. The series surpassed 500,000 copies in circulation in August 2024.
