Xbox has announced Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, a spin-off of the Plague Tale franchise, which will release in 2026. It will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy focuses on Sophia, who debuted in A Plague Tale: Requiem. Asobo Studio will develop the game, which features a brand-new original story. The trailer’s description provides an overview of the story, stating that “fifteen years before A Plague Tale: Requiem, young Sophia seeks her independence as a fierce plunderer in the unforgiving world of the 14th century.” The game will be available day one on Xbox Game Pass.
