Koei Tecmo, PlatinumGames, and Team Ninja announced Ninja Gaiden 4, the next major entry in the long-running Ninja Gaiden series, will launch on October 21 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Windows and Steam. Pre-orders are available now, and the game will also be a day one Xbox Game Pass title.
Ninja Gaiden 4 features two playable characters, the new protagonist Yakumo from the Raven clan and the returning series lead, Ryu Hayabusa. The story centers around the return of the Dark Dragon. Players can expect all-new movesets, challenging levels, and high-speed dynamic action that PlatinumGames is known for.
Moreover, fans can catch up with Ninja Gaiden 2, a full remake in Unreal Engine 5 that honors the original sequel. Momiji, Ayane, and Rachel are still playable, and the game includes a new beginner-friendly “Hero Play Style.” The Ninja Gaiden 2: Black remake is available now for $49.99 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Windows and Steam. It is also available with Xbox Game Pass.
Lastly, fans can also look forward to Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound by The Game Kitchen and Koei Tecmo. Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound offers a new 2D experience that promises to blend the gameplay of the classic entries with the depth and intense action from the 3D games. The game follows Kenji Mozu as he faces a demonic threat endangering the Hayabusa Village. Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound launches on July 31 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
