Ysbryd Games and developer brlka announced horror platformer LOVE ETERNAL launches in Q4 2025 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. LOVE ETERNAL will feature English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Spanish, and Russian language support.

“During development we put a lot of time and care into the castle’s atmosphere, creating music and ambience whose interplay expressed a sense of forlornness, and using a painterly style of pixel art to give a sense of a world much larger than the small corners you see as the player,” said brlka designer Toby Alden. “We’re looking forward to sharing the secrets of this time-worn realm later this year.”

Lastly, here’s an overview, via Ysbryd Games:

When Maya leaves the dinner table to answer a phone call, she returns to find her family missing, her home destroyed, and her surroundings transmuted into an unfamiliar, eerie landscape reminiscent of the Iron Age. Seek a way out of this strange predicament by navigating the unpredictable liminal spaces and ignoring Earthly laws of physics – but not before confronting the powerful god responsible for her abduction.

Dash through the crumbling chambers of a labyrinthine castle, leaping, flipping, and strategically landing on the floors and ceilings of each puzzle-like room. Plan jump arcs carefully to make use of environmental boons that trigger Maya’s ability to flip gravity in midair, and avoid razor-sharp spikes, shifting lasers, and other deadly obstacles in precision platforming challenges.

Take in vast, desolate landscapes as disquieting ambient tones haunt the god’s domain. Gaze at imposing, yet lonely, statues throughout the realm’s many environments, from undersea caverns to uncanny copies of Maya’s suburban home. Brave encounters with monstrous doppelgängers of Maya’s family and friends, and meet other victims of the deity’s abductions.
