Following the blitz of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds news from Summer Game Fest 2025, SEGA has confirmed some new details about the game’s post-launch support and free DLC characters. Hatsune Miku, Joker from Persona 5, and Ichiban Kasuga from Like a Dragon, are among the first three DLC characters that will be released for free in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.
The exact number of free DLC characters remains unclear, but there appears to a total of 10 characters being released over time. In addition, there will be paid DLC characters, thanks to various editions of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds and the Season Pass. Sonic the Werehog from Sonic Unleashed is a pre-order bonus, and Steve, Alex, and the Creeper from Minecraft are other new additions with the Season Pass, for example. A total of six DLC packs will be released, and there will also be new courses and vehicles, so there’s a lot to look forward to.
