Something We Made has revealed the first gameplay footage for TOEM 2, the upcoming sequel to TOEM. The game will release on PC via Steam and currently unspecified consoles.
The new game is still a photography-based adventure, like its predecessor. It takes place a few years after the first game. You will meet new friends, who will task you with side quests and provide support in your journey, such as several camera tools. The visuals have also been updated and there is a brand new movement system for players to experiment with. The full gameplay trailer will likely release soon. However, more will be shown during Play Days 2025 at Summer Games Fest.
The original TOEM is available now on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The Steam page describes TOEM 2 as follows:
Tie those sneakers and ready your camera, it’s time to set off on a new photo adventure in TOEM 2! Set a few years after the original story, you head off on another relaxing adventure, spurred on by your awakened passion for discovering and photographing these mysterious “events” known as TOEM’s.
Take on the role of a more confident adventurer by jumping and climbing your way across the environment, allowing you to see the world from a whole new perspective. Make your way through new regions, lend a hand to new faces and create lasting friendships.
So, what are you waiting for? There are more TOEMs to discover!
