Check out what’s new in the Street Fighter 6 Elena patch notes below:
Additionally, multiple additions and features will be arriving to Elena’s update on June 5, such as ‘Outfit 3’ rolling out for all characters throughout the year. The Elena update will also introduce two new features to Challenge Customization: “VS Type Layout” and “Sound Priority.” Players will be able to change the layout and sound priority of the Challenge screen to customize its appearance. After matching with an opponent online, the newly created Challenge screen will pop up.
The “Get Ready for Elena!” fighting pass will also arrive with Elena’s release. This pass features avatar gear, challenger screen effects, and more that are inspired by some of the characters in Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike.
Street Fighter 6 and game music composer Yoko Shimomura are teaming up for a special collaboration. With Elena’s upcoming update, a new BGM track titled “Edge of Triumph” will release. This BGM is created by Yoko Shimomura, composer for the Kingdom Hearts games and Street Fighter II. Shimomura hasn’t composed for a Street Fighter game in 34 years, making this a huge comeback for her.
Lastly, Shogakukan announced that Street Fighter 6 will receive a new manga titled Street Fighter Luke Rising. The new Street Fighter 6 manga will launch in Shogakukan’s Coro Coro Comics on June 29. Yoshio Mokomokomaru Masao will draw the manga.
Street Fighter 6 is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
