SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku released a new overview trailer for Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut with the “1-888-YAKUZA0” toll-free hotline, or 1 (888) 925-8920. When calling the hotline, a machine answers with options to speak with Kazuma Kiryu, Goro Majima, reserve a table at Club Sunshine, or speak with Nugget from Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut.
SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku also released a new interview video for Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut featuring Japanese cast members Takaya Kuroda (voice of Kazuma Kiryu), Hidenari Ugaki (voice of Goro Majima), Kazuhiro Nakaya (voice of Akira Nishikiyama), and Hitoshi Ozawa (voice of Daisaku Kuze). The interview video hypes fans up for the release of Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut, which launches alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 console.
Previously, SEGA released various trailers for the upcoming release of Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut, highlighting the English dub and theme song “Bubble” by Shōnan no Kaze. The game will also feature Japanese and Chinese voice-overs with French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese subtitles.
Serving as a definitive edition of Yakuza 0, Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut for Nintendo Switch 2 includes new never-before-seen story cutscenes with insight into key events and backstories. A new “Red Light Raid” online multiplayer mode will be available with 60 unlockable and playable characters. In this new mode, players can join their friends and take out hordes of enemies. In addition, the game will run at 4K 60 FPS on Nintendo Switch 2.
The Nintendo Switch 2 will launch on June 5, 2025, for $449.99, and pre-orders opened on April 24 at participating retailers in the US. A Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle will be also available for $499.99. Lastly, Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut will be available at launch on June 5 alongside the new console.
