VIZ Media has announced a panel for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War at Anime Expo 2025. The panel is set for July 4, taking place from 4:45 PM – 5:35 PM at the JW Platinum Ballroom. Since the return of the Bleach anime in 2022, VIZ has regularly hosted a panel at Anime Expo to reveal new information about the next cour. This panel will focus on the fourth and final part of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, The Calamity.
It is widely expected that we will receive new information in the form of either a key visual or PV, in addition to potential news surrounding a release date. The latest part, The Conflict, aired in Fall 2024, with episodes wrapping up in late December. With The Calamity acting as the fourth and final part, a release date in 2026 seems most likely.
Beyond information on Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity, VIZ has promised a door giveaway for all attendees, exclusive content, staff commentaries, great prizes, and even a tease of “special announcements”. These reveals could range from a release date for the Blu-ray of The Conflict to even potential information on the future of the Bleach series.
For more on Bleach, be sure to check out our review of Bleach Rebirth of Souls, where we wrote, “Bleach Rebirth of Souls is a love letter to the long-running Bleach anime with full English and Japanese voice-overs in a faithful recreation of the franchise’s long story. The game’s simple but engaging combat system combine the best elements from anime arena fighters and traditional fighting games for some intense and visually pleasing battles. However, the game’s lack of online features repeats the same mistakes of Bandai Namco’s past arena fighters, reducing some of the game’s replay value.”
The first three seasons of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is available now on Hulu and Disney+.
