Bandai Namco Entertainment have added a new role for DEATH NOTE Killer Within, known as Kira’s Spokesperson. New premium downloadable content is also available now.
The new downloadable content includes a cosmetic for Light, featuring the character in an open dress shirt with a vignette. A back accessory, called “The God of the New World” is also available. You can also purchase the Premium Customization Track Vol. 5. It includes two additional premium avatars (Rem and Naomi Misora). There are also along two new pets, 19 accessories, two nameplates and ten character cut-ins.

The new Kira’s Spokesperson role can be set to replace a former Kira Follower. His ability let the player place a “Kira’s Kingdom Card” on a nearby Investigator in secret. An Investigator arrested after being given a Kira’s Kingdom Card will be detained as a collaborator, removing them from subsequent investigation. (Team Kira will win if the Investigator was L!)
However, note that this comes at the cost of Kira’s Spokesperson always being detained when arrested, since they have Kira’s Kingdom Cards even if they don’t have IDs. (Other Investigators won’t be able to tell if the player is Kira’s Spokesperson or an Investigator with a Kira’s Kingdom Card in this scenario.) Kira’s Spokesperson can steal IDs just like any Kira Follower, but they can’t tell who’s approaching other Investigators because they don’t have Rem.
Kira’s Spokesperson makes the game even more thrilling, forcing hesitation to avoid false arrest and cause suspicion over whether an Investigator is Kira’s Spokesperson or just holding a Kira’s Kingdom Card!
