During Combo Breaker 2025, Bandai Namco announced Tekken 8 DLC character Fahkumram will launch on July 10, and DLC character Armor King will be releasing later this year. Tekken 8 players who own the Season 2 Character & Stage Pass will unlock early access to Fahkumram on July 7, along with Armor King at a later date.
Fans can expect one new character and stage to release in winter. Additionally, Bandai Namco unveiled more details on patches 2.01, 2.02, and 2.03. Each patch will have balance adjustments, free content, and paid content. In particular, a PAC-MAN stage will be coming this summer.
Thus far, Tekken 8 has sold three million copies. This milestone was reached around the game’s first anniversary, and the game is on pace to sell faster than Tekken 7. As shown in the 1st anniversary trailer for Tekken 8, this series has seen massive growth, with new players coming in at every iteration. Bandai Namco thanks the players playing and being a part of the growth.
Tekken 8 is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Additionally, Tekken 8 is officially a part of the EVO 2025 main game lineup.
