Developer 7QUARK announced that they’ve parted ways with Game Source Entertainment, and multiple free updates are now in development for Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade. The first update revises Taketora’s story arc with new cutscenes and narrative content.
After the first Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade content update, several updates will be released in the next three months. In addition, new DLC content and further updates are planned to release in the next year.
This new content includes:
- Upcoming Free Updates (Within 3 Months)
- Boss Rush Mode: Face off against all bosses in a continuous challenge.
- Boss Stage Variations: Enhancements to improve boss fight experiences.
- Nine New Weapons: More options and combinations for weapon loadouts.
- New Monsters: Enrich regular stage encounters.
- New Amulet: Expand player equipment choices and strategies.
- Planned Updates (Within 1 Year)
- New Route DLC: Yasha – A fully playable new character with her own story.
- New Main Character Story – Chapter 4 – Continuation of the heroes’ journeys.
- The Truth Revealed – True Ending Arc – Unlockable after clearing Chapter 4 with any character.
- Supercharged Boss Versions – For those who crave the ultimate challenge.
Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade launched on May 15 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Alongside the game’s launch, a new anime short film for Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade was released on the game’s YouTube channel. The short film was animated by Bandai Namco Pictures.
