A new listing on SteamDB has revealed that a beta for Gears of War: Reloaded is in development. The beta is more than likely for the game’s multiplayer.
Gears of War: Reloaded will feature several new optimizations for the game’s multiplayer. This includes 120 FPS, 4K support, and cross-platform play without the use of a Microsoft account. Currently, Xbox has not yet confirmed if a beta for Gears of War: Reloaded will release. The full game will launch on August 26 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Players who already own the digital version of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition before May 5 will have a free upgrade to Gears of War: Reloaded. The game will also be a day one addition to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. It features all of the content of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition alongside all post-launch DLC and a variety of platform-specific optimizations and enhancements. Players who choose to use their Microsoft account will unlock cross-platform progression, which will allow them to continue their campaign and multiplayer progress across devices.

Xbox, The Coalition, and People Can Fly are currently working on Gears of War: E-Day, the prequel to Gears of War. A release date for Gears of War: E-Day has not been announced yet.
