No complicated set-up needed; just plug and play.

ModRetro has announced that you can stream your Chromatic console natively to Discord in a new update. Streaming to Discord is simple and only requires a USB chord.

According to ModRetro, the update to the Chromatic will offer seamless, plug-and-play streaming to Discord. No extra software is needed: all you need to do is connect the console to your computer and select it from the devices list in Discord. You can share footage of your game through Discord voice chat on both macOS and Windows devices. The update is meant to make retro gaming more accessible for all audiences.

The Chromatic is available now via ModRetro’s website. You can purchase the system in one of many colors, including red (Inferno), green (Leaf), pink (Bubblegum), blue (Wave), black (Midnight), or yellow (Volt). All versions come with Tetris as a pack-in title.

Lastly, ModRetro describes the Chromatic console as follows:

    Compatible with the Classics

It’s time to dust off your old cartridges! Chromatic is compatible with Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Chromatic cartridges, so you can play all your old and new favorites on the handheld of your dreams.

    Play Anytime, Anywhere

Equipped with the world’s only 160×144 pixel sunlight-readable backlit display, Chromatic is ready to play in any environment. Its super scratch-resistant sapphire front crystal makes it perfect for on-the-go gaming.

    Magnesium Alloy Shell

Rather than plastic, Chromatic’s shell is crafted from premium, lightweight and durable magnesium alloy. The result? A handheld that’s indestructible and feels so good to hold, you won’t want to put it down.
