Nintendo has released the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe version 3.0.5 update with a notable bug fix for an issue affecting ghost data for the 3DS Music Park. Going forward, players should be able to properly upload ghost data from Time Trials on 3DS Music Park in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

- Fixed issue where, when player creates ghost data for “3DS Music Park” after fulfilling particular conditions for the Time Trials, the data could not be uploaded.
Released in November 2023, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 6 includes a total of eight courses from various Mario Kart titles. Additionally, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe players will also receive 16 additional Mii Racing Suits, and a bonus Daisy Racing Suit may be obtained by scanning any Daisy amiibo. The previous version 3.0.0 update also brought the highly requested Room ID feature.
On June 5, Nintendo Switch 2 will launch for $449.99 USD, and a bundle including Mario Kart World will be available for $499.99. Pre-orders for Nintendo Switch 2 at Best Buy, Walmart and Target went live on April 24 and quickly sold out within just a few hours. However, Nintendo and other retailers will periodically replenish stock leading into launch. Other games like Cyberpunk 2077 and upgrade packs for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom will also be available.
