Bethesda has announced that DOOM: The Dark Ages has reached 3 million players. After less than a week, it has become the biggest launch in id’s history.
The game released on May 15 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Since its release, DOOM: The Dark Ages has reached 3 million players 7x faster than DOOM Eternal. The Dark Ages takes the game to the medieval era in an origin story for its protagonist, the Doom Slayer. It features slower, more methodical gameplay compared to its predecessor, plus mech and dragon battles, new weapons, and brand-new worlds unlike anything seen in the series before.
