Missile Command Delta Launches on July 8, Xbox Versions Confirmed

    Pre-orders open on May 29.

Atari, Mighty Yell, and 13AM Games announced turn-based tactical game Missile Command Delta will release on July 8 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. The Xbox versions of Missile Command Delta are newly announced, and pre-orders will open on May 29 across all platforms.

Missile Command Delta reimagines Atari’s original 1980s game while offering completely new gameplay elements. In the new game, players explore an abandoned half-century old facility with locked doors, ruined work rooms, massive super computers, and newly reactivated missile command terminals. Players must defend against waves of missiles from an unknown enemy by using the terminals and a variety of missiles, each with a unique type, range, and explosion radius. Over the course of the game, players will begin to wonder what is real from the battles and who they can trust. If successful, they will learn the truth of the Cold War-era defense program.

“Whether you’re into puzzles, mystery or just love uncovering secrets, Missile Command Delta has something that will hook you,” said Ethan Stearns, VP of Games at Atari, in a press release. “We can’t wait for players to jump in and see just how deep the rabbit hole goes.”
