The most recent volume of BLUELOCK -Episode Nagi- has announced that manga is ending on August 12. It will end with its eighth volume, which Kodansha will publish.
Kodansha initially began serializing BLUELOCK in 2018. Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yūsuke Nomura’s series focuses on the Japanese Football (Soccer) Team trying to become the best in the world after finishing sixteenth in the 2018 World Cup. The BLUELOCK -Episode Nagi- spinoff manga released in June 2022 and will finally be ending after three years, in August 2025.
The film adaptation of –Episode Nagi- sold 337,000 tickets after just three days. Within those first three days, it earned over 463 million yen (about US$2.99 million). The anime adaptation of both the original series and the spinoff are available on Crunchyroll. Additionally, the manga is available to read on Kodansha’s website.
