The founder of Haven Interactive Studios, Jade Raymond, has departed PlayStation nearly three years after the studio was acquired. The company was working on the upcoming heist-focused live-service game, Fairgames (previously titled Fairgame$).
PlayStation initially acquired Haven Studios in March 2022. In 2023, it announced Fairgames. While the reason that founder Jade Raymond departed Haven Studios is unknown, a report from Bloomberg states that it could be due to a less than favorable external test for the game. The release date for Fairgames is currently unknown.

The next major PlayStation 5 game releasing in 2025, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, will launch on June 26. Recently, Hideo Kojima announced that the game has gone gold ahead of the its release. Reaching gold status means that development of Death Stranding 2: On The Beach is now complete, and the game is ready for mass production.
A new Death Stranding 2: On The Beach Limited Edition DualSense wireless controller will also be sold on June 26. Pre-orders open on May 22 at 10:00 a.m. local time for $84.99 at PlayStation Direct and participating retailers. PlayStation worked closely with Kojima Productions on the controller design.
