    SNK CEO Kenji Matsubara Will Step Down and Transition to Advisory Role

    SNK Corporation announced that CEO Kenji Matsubara will step down from his role and transition into an advisory role. During his term, Matsubara expanded SNK’s development, sales, and marketing capabilities. The Chairman of the Board at SNK will assume the role of interim CEO as part of the leadership transition.

    SNK’s board expressed deep gratitude for Matsubara’s transformative leadership and reaffirmed its commitment to the company’s long-term vision. SNK looks forward to continued growth and innovation under new leadership in this new era. 

    Currently, fans can experience some of SNK’s flagship titles. Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is the next major installment in the long-running Fatal Fury / GAROU fighting game series. The game features a robust roster of fighters, combining classic characters beloved by fans with new faces. It also has various game modes, including story mode, training, and an online mode with rollback netcode and cross-play.
