During PAX East 2025, Digital Extremes released a gameplay spotlight trailer for the ongoing Soulframe pre-alpha, titled Preludes. The game will release later this year.
The gameplay trailer hints at the story for Soulframe and also showcases what fans can expect from the game’s combat. Fans can sign up for a chance to receive a code for the ongoing pre-alpha on the official website. New codes are sent out every week.

Recently, Digital Extremes revealed that new devstreams for Soulframe and its other major game, Warframe, will take place at TennoCon on July 19. In a statement from Megan Everett, Director of Community at Digital Extreme, she stated that “2025 is shaping up to be another wild year, and we can’t wait to share more about our big plans with our Warframe and Soulframe players as we prepare to celebrate ten years of TennoCon in July.”

Soulframe will release in late 2025. While Digital Extremes’ have not yet confirmed the game’s consoles, it will likely be available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC, similarly to Warframe.
