Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising revealed the gameplay trailer for the upcoming DLC character Galleon. She will join the Skyfarers in their fight on May 28 with version 2.10.
Additionally, Galleon is a part of Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising Character Pass Season 2 alongside Sandalphon and the following characters:
- Wilnas (Summer 2025)
- Meg (Fall 2025)
- Ilsa (Early 2026)

Moreover, the developers will host a special pre-launch livestream for version 2.10 on May 26 that will showcase Galleon’s gameplay and everything players need to know about the update. This stream will go live on the GBVS Official YouTube Channel at 11 P.M. (PT).
One of the notable changes coming to update 2.10 is that ranked matches will use a numeric point-based system for improved accuracy of your skill level, similar to how Master Rank is. Players will also gain more points for 2-0 victories and fewer points lost for 2-1 defeats. Moreover, promotion matches have been removed. More quality of life updates will be revealed in the May 26 livestream.
More news about Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising may come at EVO 2025, which will run from August 1 to 3 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada. The game is featured alongside Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes, Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, Mortal Kombat 1, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, and Marvel vs Capcom 2.
