    REMOW Now Streaming KochiKame on It’s Anime YouTube Channel

    Reborn!, Yakitate!! Japan, and more also confirmed for the channel.

    REMOW has announced a new batch of anime that are available to watch via the It’s Anime YouTube channel, including the classic KochiKame anime. The channel streams the anime with English subtitles in the U.S. and Canada.

    Today, the channel added the KochiKame anime, which initially aired in 1996. 300 episodes released until 2004. This is the first time the anime has had an official English release in North America. New episodes will release on the channel every Friday. However, REMOW has not confirmed how many episodes of the series will be available on the channel. Check out the first episode for KochiKame below:

    The KochiKame manga, written by Osamu Akimoto, finally ended in September 2016 after forty years of serialization. The series has not only inspired an anime series, but also anime films, anime specials, live-action films, a live-action series, and several stage plays. The anime is also available via Plex TV. It describes it as follows:

    Kochikame is an anime comedy tv series featuring Ryotsu Kankichi, a lazy, ugly, rough, manner less, greedy but sweet at heart police officer working at Kameari police station. The show revolves around the daily life of Ryotsu along with his fellow workmates, his boss, his apartment fellow mates and many others; and sometimes it also shows the deeper moments of Ryotsu’s life.
     
    REMOW has also started streaming the following other anime on the It’s Anime YouTube channel: REBORN!Yakitate!! JapanTrue Cooking Master Boy. New episodes of REBORN! will stream daily, Yakitate!! Japan will release new episodes on Monday and Tuesday, and True Cooking Master Boy will stream new episodes on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. The three aforementioned anime are also available on Crunchyroll.
