Toby Fox revealed new details about the release of Deltarune Chapters 1-4, confirming exact release times for the Nintendo Switch 2 version, cross-buy capabilities, the free upgrade for the Switch 2 version, and much more.
Firstly, the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Deltarune Chapters 1-4 will launch on June 5 at 12:00 a.m. local time, while the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Steam versions launch on June 4 at 8:00 a.m. PDT / 11:00 a.m. EDT. The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions support cross-buy.
Moreover, Deltarune Chapters 1-4 supports cross-buy as well via a free upgrade for Nintendo Switch 2, with the sole exception of Japan. Due to local laws in Japan, a small fee must be charged for the upgrade. It’s worth noting that cross-buy/free upgrade only works on the same account.
