Niantic has unveiled the second update for Monster Hunter Now Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, which will go live on May 24. The new Monster Hunter Now Season 5 update brings the Elder Dragon Chameleos and the Spring Hunt 2025 event.
Chameleos will start to appear for all hunters at Elder Dragon Interception points when the new Monster Hunter Now Season 5 update launches. Chameleos can vanish with a chameleon-like ability, and it can exhale a special fog-like breath. Players who defeat Chameleos can earn monster parts that can be used to forge the Mizuha Set armor, which has a brand-new skill. There are additional weapons to craft as well.

The Spring Hunt 2024 event will be held from May 24 to May 25. During the event, players can purchase an event ticket to enjoy Elder Dragon Interceptions featuring Chameleos. The ticket also offers no waiting times between Elder Dragon Interceptions and Hunt-a-thons, along with bonus Chameleos-themed layered equipment. Players will also have the option to choose between two Event Exchange Hubs during the event, which allow players to trade in Exchange Tokens for rewards. More details can be read at the game’s official blog post.
