WEBTOON has announced, as part of its ongoing partnership with IDW, it will be publishing the ongoing Sonic the Hedgehog comic series. It is available to read today, alongside four other comic titles.

The four comics that are also available on WEBTOON, due to IDW’s collaboration, are as follows: Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees, They Called Us Enemy, Godzilla: Unnatural Disasters, and Locke & Key. IDW describes the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series, written by the gaming franchise’s writer, Ian Flynn, as follows:

The evil genius Dr. Eggman has been foiled — but the work of Sonic the Hedgehog isn’t over yet! In the aftermath of the latest epic battle, rogue robots continue to attack small villages around the world. In order to defeat them, Sonic will need the help of his friends Tails, Knuckles, and Amy, along with some new and surprising allies. This new collection features the Blue Blur like you’ve never seen him before. Gotta go fast!

Recently, WEBTOON announced yet another collaboration, this time with PlayStation, where PlayStation Plus Premium members will get access to the WEBTOON service. On the flipside, WEBTOON subscribers who read select titles will get two weeks of PlayStation Plus.

In order to get the complimentary two weeks of PlayStation Plus, WEBTOON subscribers must read seven chapters of either Omniscient ReaderBad Born Blood, and The Reborn Young Lord is an Assassin. This marks the latest collaboration between WEBTOON and the gaming industry, as earlier this year, the former partnered with Capcom on a Webcomic contest for Monster Hunter Wilds

The aforementioned IDW comics, Sonic the Hedgehog, Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees, They Called Us Enemy, Godzilla: Unnatural Disasters, and Locke & Key, are available now on the WEBTOON service.
