Digital Extremes has revealed that new devstreams for Soulframe and Warframe will take place at TennoCon on July 19. Additionally, it has also announced new updates for both that will be available soon.
In a recent devstream, Digital Extremes showcased a new Caster weapon, the implementation of secondary weapons, new plant enemies, a limited-time event, and a “new asynchronous social feature” known as World Trees for Soulframe‘s pre-alpha.
Warframe players will get access to two new Grineer weapons in an event, titled The Galleon of Ghouls, which will start on May 2. The developers will reveal more details about the future of Warframe at PAX East, which will take place on May 10. Those attending PAX East will receive a Aesopex Armor Bundle, TennoVIP 2025 Glyph & Sigil, Orokin Reactor/Catalyst Blueprints, and early access to the Kullervo Noggle decoration.
Recently, Warframe received a new update for the 1999 expansion. The update, titled Techrot Encore, includes the following:
- Next entry to the Lich adversary system.
- Technocyte Coda boy band boss fights.
- 60th Warframe, Temple.
- Four new Protoframes, Gemini skins, and emotes releasing soon.
- Improvements to the Romance & Relationship system.
- New original music track via a collaboration with Jake Bowen and Mark Holcomb (Periphery), as well as vocalist Elliot Coleman (Good Tiger).
- New hairstyles and a new new Scaldra-themed cosmetic gear for the Drifter.
- New Scaldra weapons (a pistol, sickle, rifle, and grenade launcher).
- Gyre Deluxe cosmetic skin
The new Warframe and Soulframe panels will take place during TennoCon 2025, on July 19. Warframe is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Soulframe will be available later this year.
