Here’s an overview of Mythical Concept: STARNAUT, via Steam:

    WHAT IS “STARNAUT“?

STARNAUT” is an easy-to-learn, hard-to-master “survivor-like” game that emphasizes massive Nitro Jumps and Dashes, evading with verticality, synergizing extremely powerful weapons, deep and considered lore, and of course, the strongest force in the universe….love!

Choose your 8 favourite weapons, and annihilate endless hordes of enemies! Feel the excitement of mowing down entire armies of the creeping terror known only as ZOL!

BE CAREFUL!! This game is way too addictive! Time flies when you’re having fun!

Humanity is Extinct. Earth is Lost.

Copiasu, a designer baby created by two AIs, carries the final hopes of humanity. After Earth was torn apart by a multi-dimensional rift, he must dive into the multiverse and take on the mantle of Earth’s final starfarer: Starnaut.

The Ω Rockets, holding Earth’s final records, lie scattered throughout the space between dimensions. Finding and launching them all is the only path to Earth’s rebirth! Driven by this hope, Starnaut forges ahead into the unknown multiverse, ready for anything!

NOTICE: Although this game features “gacha” as a plot element, it is NOT a “gacha game”!! Don’t get it twisted!

The STARNAUT himself, and no one else, carries this torch burning bright, encoded inside his mind and in his heart, and to remember is to care, about each and every bit of it. Truly an enormous responsibility, by any measure.

He is a miracle, but he is still a person, same as you, who needs the love and support of others, and there are things about people that no circumstance can change….

Before the doomsday, people launched the Omega Rockets with thier precious memories and history, but they ended up landing in multiverse!

Starnaut runs today to find out if all of the rockets were launched back, so the Earth will be ressurected. …or not!?

    Mission 1: Explore the Multiverse

Starnaut’s unique power draws together distant realities through the multiverse, forming the stages where your battles unfold!

Over 15 distinct zones await, with more lurking beyond. Clear them all!

    Mission 2: Survive the Invasion

Take down swarms of invaders pouring from the multiverse! Some look cute, but don’t be fooled!

Not an expert at shooters? No problem! Your weapons attack automatically!

Mission 3: Power Up with Coins

    Defeated enemies drop coins!

Spend them at the Shopnaut for crucial weapon upgrades and power-ups during your run.

Mission 4: Launch Rockets and Get Oxygen

Launch 10 Ω Rockets to clear each stage!

They’re also your lifeline, providing vital oxygen – activate them regularly to stay alive!

    Mission 5: Collect Earth’s data!

Hunt down elusive carriers holding fragments of Earth’s “Lost Data.” Punch them to retrieve these vital records!

Mission…. WHATEVER!! JUST BEAT EM AS MANY AS YOU CAN!!!!

Those enemies are not only hungry for you but YOUR KNUCKLE SANDWICH!!!

There are things like a gacha capsule, jump pad or even a hot spring!

Also, you can buy a new helmet and upgrade your spacesuit to enhance your basic abilities before you start the level.
