On April 18, Nintendo announced that pre-orders for Nintendo Switch 2 in North America will open on April 24 in the United States. re-orders for Nintendo Switch 2 at Walmart and Target will open on April 24 at 12:00 a.m. EDT. Any pre-orders made before 8:00 a.m. local time on June 4 at Walmart are eligible for free delivery by 9:00 a.m. local time on June 5.

Additionally, it was confirmed that pricing for Mario Kart World ($79.99) and Donkey Kong Bananza ($69.99) will remain unchanged at launch. However, Nintendo has increased the pricing of accessories across the board, with many raised by $5. For example, the Joy-Con 2 Pair now costs $94.99 and the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller costs $84.99.

The Nintendo Switch 2 will release on June 5 alongside Mario Kart World
