    Girls Band Cry Compilation Movies Reveal Cast, Staff and New Trailer

    Toei Animation revealed new details about the Girls Band Cry compilation movies, including the returning cast and staff from the anime. In addition, a new trailer offers a preview of the movies before their respective premieres later this year.

    Girls Band Cry: Rhapsody of Youth will premiere on October 3, followed by Girls Band Cry: Hey, Future. on November 14. 

    Returning cast members for the Girls Band Cry compilation movies include: 

    • RINA as Nina Iseri
    • Yuri as Momoka Kawaragi
    • Mirei as Subaru Awa
    • Natsu as Tomo Ebizuka
    • Syuri as Rupa

    Kazuo Sakai returns to direct the compilation movies at Toei Animation, with Jukki Hanada handling series compositions. What’s more, Nari Teshima is the character designer, and Daiki Nakazawa and Jae Hoon Jung are the CGI directors. Kenji Tamai was the composer, and Yūsuke Tanaka was credited for the background music.

    Moreover, a new Girls Band Cry mobile game adaptation for Android and iOS. Development is currently underway with no confirmed release date. Auditions for band members and cast members for the game will be held in 2025. 

    The Girls Band Cry anime premiered on April 5, 2024 in Japan. The English release followed up on August 13 digitally in North America, and Crunchyroll started to stream all 13 episodes of the anime on November 6, 2024.
