Red Hook Studios has released a new free update for Darkest Dungeon II, titled “Secrets of the Coven,” which is available now on PC and Mac. The update will release later on consoles.
“Secrets of the Coven” is the second of three adventure modules for Darkest Dungeon II. The update adds several community requested features, such as inn storage (Kingdoms only), improved hero path comparisons in both Kingdoms and Confessions modes, and new custom difficulty settings. It also adds a new Kingdom quest, enemy faction, and other new mechanics and items. Additionally, for a limited time, the Steam version is available for 50% off.

Darkest Dungeon II initially released in May 2023 on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The game is a “turn-based roguelike road trip of the damned” where players can “form a party, equip [their] stagecoach, and set off across the decaying landscape on a last gasp quest to avert the apocalypse.” The Steam page describes it as follows:
