HoYoverse has recently announced that Zenless Zone Zero will be receiving an Xbox Series X|S version. It will be officially released in June 2025, around the same time that Version 2.0 is planned for release. The game will also be available via Xbox Cloud Gaming, so players with an active Game Pass Ultimate subscription can play the game seamlessly across devices without downloads.
Powered by the enhanced GPU performance of Xbox Series X|S, Zenless Zone Zero will support the consoles’ DirectX Raytracing and HDR, and the game will have support for a native 4K resolution at a stable 60 FPS performance. Furthermore, the game will also support the Quick Resume feature on Xbox Series X|S, allowing players to switch between multiple active games without lengthy loading times.
In addition to the usual visual and performance enhancements, HoYoverse stated that the game will also introduce fine-tuned Xbox controller optimizations, incorporating customized vibration feedback to heighten the immersion and impact during combat. Naturally, this version of the game will allow for cross-progression and flexible server selection on different platforms.
In case you missed it, Zenless Zone Zero will release the Version 1.7 “Bury Your Tears with the Past” update on April 23 for PlayStation 5, PC, Android and iOS. The new version introduces two new Agents from Mockingbird, and will feature a conclusion to the story. You can watch the Version 1.7 trailer below:
