HoYoverse announced Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7 “Bury Your Tears with the Past” will release on April 23, 2025. This update will mark the finale to Zenless Zone Zero’s Season One story, and will introduce a brand-new faction.
In Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7, players will experience a new chapter of the main story. Players infiltrate enemy territory to search for the Sacrifice Core, unearth the mysterious past she shares with certain old acquaintances of hers, and expose the Exaltists’ conspiracy. With a formidable new ally, the Sacrifice crisis comes to a climax, finally unveiling the truth behind all the chaos.
Zenless Zone Zero Adds Mockingbird’s Agents
Two new Agents will be making their debut in Version 1.7. The first is Vivian, an Ether Anomaly Agent. She dances across the battlefield with a parasol and rapier, seamlessly shifting between grounded and aerial attacks. Her Basic Attack: Featherbloom amplifies Anomaly damage and synergizes with allies’ EX Special Attacks to boost the team’s Corruption damage.
The second character to be added is Hugo, an Ice Attack Agent, wields a suitcase that transforms into a sharp scythe, carving through enemies with slashes and devastating area sweeps. When hitting stunned enemies, Hugo can trigger the Totalize effect, elevating his damage based on the enemies’ remaining stun duration. Vivian will be available during the first half of Version 1.7’s banners, alongside a rerun for Jane Doe, whereas Hugo will be available during the second half, alongside a rerun for Lighter.
Zenless Zone Zero‘s Version 1.7 Events
Players can step into the role of a flower shop manager in the new “Say it with Flowers” event, crafting gorgeous floral arrangements for different clients. As they complete floral design commissions, Proxies will unlock a permanent interactive floral arrangement gameplay for Quality Time mode and receive exclusive rewards, including A-Rank Bangboo Overtimeboo. The adrenaline-fueled Bangboo also Bash returns in Version 1.7 with a ranked mode.
