Maomao will have to tackle another strange ghost story in The Apothecary Diaries Season 2 episode 38 after her most recent escapades at the palace’s bathhouse. Lady Lishu will play a central role in the new The Apothecary Diaries episode, and Final Weapon has everything need to know before the exciting episode’s premiere.
The Apothecary Diaries episode 37 saw Xiaolan and Maomao spend some time together at the bathhouse, as Xiaolan is finishing up her duties at the palace. Since Xiaolan needs a new job, Maomao decides to help her win over some key figures at the bathhouse by doing some masseuse work. Shisui also joins in to help Xiaolan, and Seki-u gets dragged into the group’s work as well. At the end of the day, the group encounters Lady Lishu on her way back home from the Kongō Palace bathhouse, but she has a nervous and distraught demeanor, since it is apparently haunted by a ghost.
The Apothecary Diaries Season 2 Episode 38 Release Date, Time and Where to Watch
The Apothecary Diaries Season 2 episode 38 premieres on Friday, April 11 at 9:15 a.m. PDT / 12:15 p.m. EDT on Crunchyroll. The new episode is titled “The Dancing Ghost” and it will stream with English subs first, followed by the English dub at a later date. 12 episodes will release in the second cour of Season 2, according to the anime’s schedule.

What to Expect in Episode 38
Lady Lishu is stricken with fear, since she claims to have seen a ghost at the palace’s bathhouse. In episode 38, she will describe the strange figure she say to Maomao, which appears to have been behind a swaying curtain in a room adjacent to where Lishu was staying.
Maomao is concerned about Lishu, so she decides to consult Jinshi. Jinshi orders her to uncover the mystery behind this strange ghost story, and while investigating the matter, Maoamo discovers the true identity of the ghost and some of Lishu’s darkest troubles. Of course, there’s more to be uncovered about the palace as well.
