Netflix announced Devil May Cry Season 2 is now in the works, and the first season of the animated series debuted at #4 on the global top 10 list on the streaming service. According to Netflix, Devil May Cry Season 1 was also in the top 10 in 87 countries, and it accrued 5.3 million views in three days.
A new key visual was also revealed for Devil May Cry Season 2:
Netflix revealed the official Season 1 soundtrack for the Devil May Cry animated series. The soundtrack features the previously released “Afterlife” track by Evanescence, along with hits from the 2000s and a “redacted” track by Green Day.
The Devil May Cry animated series premiered on April 3 on Netflix. Limp Bizkit’s “Rollin'” is the opening theme song. Studio Mir and Adi Shankar produced the eight-episode first season, and the series will have multiple seasons.
The Japanese cast for the Devil May Cry anime includes Toshiyuki Morikawa as Dante, Fumiko Orikasa as Lady, and Hiroaki Hirata as Vergil. The English cast is as follows:
