SEGA and Rovio announced 32-player battle royale game Sonic Rumble will launch on May 8 for Android, iOS, and PC via Steam worldwide. The global launch of the game will introduce all-new features that weren’t available in the pre-release versions.
Sonic Rumble will introduce crews at launch, allowing players to strategize together as a team. There will also be skills, which can be slotted into characters. Players can experiment with different combinations of skills to find the perfect match for their playstyle. After launch, fans can expect more new features, gameplay tweaks, updates, and much more.
Moreover, pre-registration for Sonic Rumble is live on Google Play, App Store, and Steam, and players can earn rewards at launch for reaching pre-registration goals. Players can earn 5,000 Rings, Happy sticker, Crystal Chao buddy, Garnet Knuckles skin, and Movie Sonic skin by meeting the pre-registration goals.

In Sonic Rumble, players will take control of toy figures to compete in thrilling 32-player battle royale challenges, racing against each other to collect the most rings and prove themselves to be the fastest in the toybox. With iconic characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog universe available for customization, players can create their own unique avatars and dive into the action-packed gameplay.
The latest release in the mainline series, Sonic X Shadow Generations, launched on October 25, 2024 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
