    Suikoden I & II HD Remaster Switch 2 Physical Version Will Have a Game-Key Card

    The physical Nintendo Switch 2 version of Suikoden I & II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars will be a game-key card game, according to the latest update from Playasia. This means that the physical game card of Suikoden I & II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars for Nintendo Switch 2 doesn’t contain data, which must be downloaded via the internet once inserted the first time into the system. 

    The Playasia listing contains preliminary box art for the Asia version of Suikoden I & II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars for Nintendo Switch 2. Pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 version are live for $34.99 at Playasia.com, with a placeholder date set for June 5. In addition, the listing states that the Nintendo Switch 2 version will support English, Japanese, and Chinese language options.

    The new Suikoden: Star Leap game is coming soon to Android and iOS. The new Suikoden: Star Leap game features gacha elements and events, but Suikoden: Star Leap retains the franchise’s signature combat system. Out of 108 stars, players can assemble a “dream team” of their favorite Suikoden heroes for battle. 

    Aki Shimizu, the manga author for the Suikoden III manga, returns to work on an official Suikoden: Star Leap manga series. Shimizu is also currently working on The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei series, with 10 volumes released so far. 

    Moreover, Konami announced Suikoden: The Anime, which is an anime adaptation of Suikoden II. Suikoden: The Anime will be the first anime series directly handled by Konami Animation.

    Lastly, Suikoden I & II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars launched on March 6 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
