During a special event on April 6, the staff of the popular romance anime Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines! announced that a second season was in the works. However, no news concerning its exact release date was announced yet.
The news was well-received by many fans, who were thrilled to see the popular romance anime return. The Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines! anime, which was dubbed by many as the best modern romance anime in 2024, stole the hearts of many fans with its fantastic animation and stellar opening.
A-1 Pictures animated the first season, and Shotaro Kitamura directed it alongside script writer Masahiro Yokotani. The first season ran for 12 episodes, from July to September 2024. Fans can watch the anime with English dubs and subs on Crunchyroll.
