IO Interactive has announced that Hitman: World of Assassination and Project 007 will release for Nintendo Switch 2. The former will be available in June 2025.
Hitman: World of Assassination Signature Edition will include the main campaign, Contracts mode, Escalation, Elusive Targets, the Freelancer game mode, and all Hitman 2 and 3 expansion content. While the game was initially available on the Nintendo Switch, it was only playable via cloud-streaming. This new version will run natively on the console. Pre-orders will include cosmetics based on Mario and Luigi.
Project 007 is a new game that will highlight James Bond’s origin. Little details about the game’s release date and gameplay are currently unknown. However, it will be available on the Nintendo Switch 2, alongside other systems. Check out the trailer for both below, alongside other third-party games such as Bravely Default:

The Nintendo Switch 2 will be available on June 5 for $450 USD. A bundle including Mario Kart World will be available at launch for $500. Pre-orders will go live on April 9.
