During the April 2 Nintendo Direct: Nintendo Switch 2 presentation, HAMSTER Corporation and Bandai Namco announced Arcade Archives 2 Ridge Racer. Arcade Archives 2 Ridge Racer is a port of the original 1993 Ridge Racer game with a completely redesigned user interface and new features.

Moreover, Arcade Archives 2 Ridge Racer includes a Time Attack Mode, multiple save slots, a new rewind feature, a quick start feature, and variable refresh rate (VRR) support on Nintendo Switch 2.

Before playing the remastered Ridge Racer game, Nintendo fans may try out Ridge Racer 64 on the Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service. The game initially released on the Nintendo 64 in 2000. The game joined the Expansion Pack service alongside The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Goldeneye 007, Perfect Dark, and countless other games.

Bandai Namco fans can also look forward to Shadow Labyrinth, a new 2D action platformer with an alternate take on PAC-MAN. The game will launch on July 18 for Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.  A Digital Deluxe Edition of Shadow Labyrinth will be available on all platforms featuring a digital artbook and soundtrack, and digital pre-orders are going live with special bonuses.
