To celebrate April Fools’ Day, HoYoverse released a new trailer for Honkai Impact 3rd, revealing a chibi-style “Special Remake” and a new redemption code. Honkai Impact 3rd players can redeem the code HonkaiRemake to earn some rewards.
Although the Special Remake isn’t actually real planned content, HoYoverse launched the Honkai Impact 3rd Version 8.1 “Drumming in New Resolutions” update on February 20. Kiana’s new SD-type battlesuit, Ba-Dum! Fiery Wishing Star, made its debut in the update. On the field, Kiana wields a long staff to sweep enemies and deal Fire DMG. Each hit of her 4-sequence attack accumulates KE, and the 4th hit inflicts Passion Marks that deal AOE DMG.
Kiana’s recommended weapon and PRI-ARM is available, granting her an extra Passion Mark to stack. She and Herrscher of Human: Ego will also receive their respective stigmata, and Ego’s recommended Divine Key and PRI-ARM Divine Key will also be available.In the Version 8.1 story interlude, players will learn more about Leylah. Playing the story and various activities reward Crystals, Source Prisms, and much more.
A new event also sees Kiana give players a fun board, allowing them to purchase Yearly Chibis to build a team. Playing the event rewards shop tokens that can be exchanged for Crystals, Coralie’s new outfit, and more. Luna and Vita also receive new outfits.
Lastly, Honkai Impact 3rd is available now for Android, iOS, and PC via Steam, Windows, and Mac.
