The staff for Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun Season 2 announced a sequel anime, presumably the third season, is now in the works. The Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun Season 2 sequel anime is planned to premiere in July 2025 on TBS at 4:30 p.m. JST, and a new key visual was revealed on the anime’s official website.

Toilet-Bound Hanako-Kun Season 2 premiered on January 12 and ran for 12 episodes, and the anime is available to watch on Crunchyroll. Akari Kitō, the voice of Nene Yashiro, performed the ending theme song “With a Wish.” The cast members for Toilet-Bound Hanako-Kun season 2 include Hōchū Ohtsuka as Kako and Rie Kugimiya as Mirai.
The first After-Fantasy Hanako-Kun anime premiered on TBS in October 2023. Crunchyroll streamed the anime on the same day but at 2:00 p.m. ET — ahead of the Japanese premiere — in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, and India.
Iro Aida launched the ongoing manga in the G-Fantasy magazine in 2014 and released the spinoff manga in February 2018, and ended it with the 25th chapter in October 2021. Square Enix published one compiled book volume for the manga in August 2019. Yen Press published the volume in English in April 2021.
Lastly, Crunchyroll describes the series as follows:
Kamome Academy is rumored to have many mysteries, the strangest of which involves the mischievous ghost of Hanako-kun. When occult-loving high schooler Nene Yashiro accidentally becomes bonded to him, she uncovers a hidden world of supernatural beings. Now the two of them are conspiring to keep the peace between student and supernatural—that is, if they can only stay out of trouble themselves.
